Strange Donkey London Dry Gin

Strange Donkey is een Antwerpse gin uit Vremde, gedistilleerd in stokerij Pirlot. Alles wordt ambachtelijk en met liefde voor het vak gedaan. De flessen worden met de hand gebotteld en van een label voorzien. Het verhaal gaat dat vier mannen in december 2014 besloten een ultiem maceraat te bereiden voor een nieuwe gin. De vrouw des huizes proefde mee en besloot verder te experimenteren aangezien haar keuken toch dagelijks vol lag met de meest vreemde botanicals, extreme kruiden en citrusvruchten. Na veel proeven werd er beslist om te werken met botanicals uit het eigen domein, in combinatie met de exclusieve citrusvruchten als sudashi, yuzu, buddahand, en fingerlime. Heel vreemd, very strange: Strange Donkey Gin zag het daglicht: artisanale bereiding volgens de london dry principes. Geen toevoeging van smaken en aromaten na het destilleren bij Strange Donkey. Strange Donkey Gin won in 2015 een zilveren medaille op één van de meest prestigieuze concours voor London Dry Gin in Londen. Heerlijke citrus tonen met een fijne kruidigheid.
